The Beavertail trailer range is built with a galvanized steel chassis, providing unbeatable corrosion protection and ensuring a long, trouble-free life. The beam axle and leaf spring suspension system enhance stability and reliability, while the resin-coated plywood platform adds durability. Closely related to the flatbed range, the Beavertail trailers feature a sloping rear bed section, offering the flexibility of a flatbed with the added benefit of a low loading height. These trailers can be fitted with one of our winch options, allowing the recovery and loading of broken down or unpowered vehicles. The Beavertail range can be ordered with a full-width rear ramp, assisted with springs supported from rear corner posts, or a gas strut-assisted ramp without corner posts, making it particularly suitable for ground care applications and the loading of wide mowers.

Width options of 1.90m and 2.16m and length options of 4.24m and 4.84m are available. Maximum gross weight for the lighter LT model is 2000kg whilst the heavier LM models offer a 3500kg gross weight.

Various load restraint options are available to ensure secure transportation. Users can customize their Beavertail trailers with a variety of accessories, including dropsides, headboards, treadplate floors, aluminum and steel loading skids, recessed lashing rings, ladder racks, branded mudflaps. Resin Coated Plywood Floor

Our Beavertail Trailers come fitted with a Heavy Duty, Resin Coated Plywood Floor. This offers excellent resistance to damage, whilst offering a non-slip surface for added protection. the edges of the Floor Panels are also treated to reduce the ingress of water, offering a long lasting solution.

Heavy Duty Jockey Wheel

Our Heavy-Duty Jockey Wheel is manufactured from larger diameter steel and includes the addition of “Grip Rings” around the Outer Tube that locate into the Locking Arm on the Trailer Hitch that allows greater weight without the risk of the smooth tube sliding.

Spare Wheel & Carrier

Accessories

Various options and accessories are available for your trailer. Some may need to be ordered with your trailer as a factory fit item, while others can be purchased at a later date. Please check with your distributor before ordering.

DROPSIDES

Depending on your requirements, fitting a set of steel dropsides to your trailer will increase its versatility, and with no raised edges around the bed sides, it provides a completely flat surface for your load. Dropsides and pillars can be easily removed without the use of a tool.

LADDER RACK

Enhance the functionality of your Beavertail with the addition of a Ladder Rack Kit. The Ladder Rack allows for the transport of materials that are longer than your trailer, making the trailer even more versatile.

BRANDED MUDFLAPS

6' HIGH RAMP

The ramp is mainly mesh, which permits visibility of the rear tail lights when the ramp is deployed. A mesh design is lightweight and reduces drag, while remaining strong and reliable.

6’ long aluminium loading ramps. A pair of prop stands are included to support the rear of the trailer when loading.

6’ long steel loading ramps with perforated holes for extra grip. A pair of prop stands are included to support the rear of the trailer when loading.

LOAD RESTRAINING STRAP

Load Retaining Straps or “Ratchet Straps” as they are commonly known allow your load to be secured to the trailer quickly and easily. Always ensure your Ratchet Straps are undamaged and strong enough for the load to be secured.

COUPLING LOCK

Our Ifor Williams Coupling Lock fits neatly around the Coupling Head to make the theft of your trailer much more difficult. Manufactured from High-Grade Steels and a durable Powder Coated Finish. The Lock is a High Security Lock which features an Anti-Drilling Barrel. For extra piece of mind we also supply an additional High Security Barrel which will fit into a Lockable Coupling Head so that one key will open both the Coupling Lock and the Coupling Head Barrel.
