Available in three models - HBX403, HBX506 and HBX511 - the range caters to a wide variety of horse transportation needs. The single-horse HBX403 offers a generously wide stall for horses up to 16.2hh, while the double-horse HBX506 and HBX511 accommodate two horses of up to 16.2hh and 17.2hh respectively, making them ideal for a range of equestrian requirements.
Engineered for strength and ease of use, the HBX range features a robust yet lightweight aluminium body, ensuring effortless towing without compromising durability. Its anodised aluminium planking construction delivers a smooth, low-maintenance finish that exudes modern sophistication. An innovative rear door design doubles as a traditional ramp or side-hinged door, offering unparalleled flexibility for loading and unloading.

One Piece Roof
All Ifor Williams horse float roofs are manufactured at our specialist site in Deeside, North Wales. With Decades of experience is composites manufacturing, IWT Composites supply our production lines with Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) products ranging from wind deflectors for livestock trailers to lids for our unbraked trailers. The result is a one-piece roof boasting smooth aerodynamic lines and a sleek styling which maintains the popular roof vent from the previous generation of float.
Front Panel and Window
The HBX range features a front nose panel which is manufactured from aluminium to provide extra resilience. The large front window, complete with steel grill for security and safety, gives your horse a clear view of the road ahead as well as keeping the interior light and bright.
Awning Rail
Seamlessly blending into the roof section, the rail makes it possible to easily attach an IWT awning to the HBX.
Aluminium Side Planks
The sides are built from Aluminium, to provide a safe environment for your horse to travel in comfort.
Front Top Opening Doors
Opening doors above both the front ramp and the inspection door provide extra ventilation when the trailer is parked. The top doors are transparent and also double up as opening side windows via a pop-out mechanism, increasing natural light and giving additional airflow whilst on the move.
Combined Mudguard and Rear Light Cluster
The mudguards and rear lighting mounts are moulded to fit the contours of the HBX to create a classic and stylish look.
Combined Ramp and Door
Our Rear Ramp can also be opened sideways like a Van Door for cleaning and other trailer uses. The ramp comes equipped with a gas spring to assist in the lifting of the ramp to ensure opening and closing is effortless.

All Genuine IWT Wheel Assemblies, Wheel Centres and Tyres go through an extensive selection and testing process and are fully compliant with all current road regulations. These are OEM wheel products which we have put through their paces at a leading UK test centre to make certain that they are comfortable on a wide range of terrains, over a prolonged period of time. As such you can be sure that your horse will experience a smooth, safe ride with any of our wheel assemblies fitted.

Tack Locker
It is built into the front nose area of your float and is accessible from the outside through a side locker door. The tack locker is only available on the left-hand side, in place of the front ramp.
Horse and Trailer Camera
The wireless camera system transmits live colour footage from the float interior to the towing vehicle. It comes on a mounting bracket for use with the magnetic base of the camera. The battery is re-chargeable and offers up to 7 hours constant display. Supplied loose, requires fitting.
Stowage Net
Ideal for storing manuals and other small items. Fitted in the front of the float.
Partition and Side Wall Padding
.Add specially designed Ifor Williams Trailers padding to the centre partition and side walls of your HBX for added comfort for your horse.
High Level Brake Light
Fitted to the rear roof arch, this optional brake light provides additional warning that the vehicle and float are braking.
Full Width Breast and Breaching Bar
Full width breast and breeching bar for horses that prefer single travel in a wider stall. Centre partitions are removed and full width breast and breeching bars are fitted. (Not available as a padded option.)
Prop Stands
Consider prop stands if your horse requires a particularly steady surface to load. Additional support will reassure nervous horses.

Feeding Managers

A hay net ring is available as standard, and on the HBX models, the hay net ring has the added benefit of being adjustable along a sliding rail.
Door Mounted Tack Pack
Attached to the inspection door, this neat storage solution is capable of storing two saddles and various other items. The fixed tack pack is suitable for general purpose saddles up to 17” (43cm). We advise that you check saddles fit before the tack pack is purchased. Not available when tack locker is selected. Available in cream. Not available for HBX403.
Removable Tack Pack

Auto Lift Jockey Wheel
The Auto Lift Jockey Wheel removes the need to clamp & unclamp the jockey wheel shaft. The operation is completed by simply turning the handle to raise or lower the jockey wheel without the need to adjust the height position.
Coupling Lock
This premium lock is engineered to keep your trailer safe with Heavy-duty toughened steel for durability, high-security barrel lock for ultimate peace of mind, certified Sold Secure Gold Standard rating and weatherproof design with corrosion resistance and a convenient cover
