Featuring a hydraulic ram with 25 tonnes of splitting force, our Log Splitter trailer is made to take on the toughest of jobs and keep on going.

The Log Splitter is a versatile machine that can be towed with any ATV/UTV up to Large Road Vehicles with ease and handles the roughest of roads and farm tracks to deliver “Cutting Power” where it is required. The Cutting Column can support and cut logs up to 600mm in length and large diameter logs can be rotated for multiple cuts offering great versatility. The Cutting Column can be operated in a horizontal position if small, lightweight logs are being split, allowing them to drop to the ground or waiting wheelbarrow, or the column can be positioned vertically to allow the loading of larger, heavy logs and removing the need for lifting.

Our Log Splitter delivers its cutting power through a 25T Hydraulic Cylinder that powers through even the toughest of logs with ease.

High Grip Anvil

The base of the cutting column boasts a useful "High-Grip" Anvil that stops the logs from slipping while being cut, ensuring the cut is delivered exactly where required, each and every cut.

Honda GX200 Engine

To deliver the power to the hydraulic system we have chosen an engine from a brand that is known world-wide, "Honda". This GX200 Engine delivers an impressive 5.6 HP from the 196cc Petrol Powered Engine, giving all of the power required to drive the Hydraulic System.

Exhaust Cover

To keep you protected from the Hot Exhaust System, our Log Splitter features a Galvanised Steel Exhaust Guard that protects your hands from the hot exhaust and also protects the exhaust from damage whilst the Log Splitter in in use.

Two Stage Hi-Lo Hydraulic Pump

All of the cutting force is delivered from the Honda GX200 Engine via a Two Stage Hydraulic Pump that delivers the cutting force as required, at an impressive 11 Gallons Per Minute, making the Log Splitter both Powerful and Reliable.

Log Retainer/Guards

To accompany the Strong and Durable Anvil at the base of the Cutting Column, we have also incorporated a pair of Hinged Side Guards that help to keep the Log in its correct position whilst being cut and also stops the “Split Log” from falling sideways.

Three Position Control Column

The Log Splitter houses its control levers on a rotating, 3-Position Column that allows the operator to position the Control Levers to a position that is comfortable for use and allowing a good view of the cutting operation, whilst keeping the user away from the cutting head.

Two Handed Safety Control

Ifor Williams Trailer puts Safety at the forefront of any product. To ensure the safety of the operator, the Log Splitter incorporates a “Dual Lever” type control that requires the operator to use both hands to operate the machine and also includes a spring return so that when the levers are released, the Log Splitter Ram retracts ready for the next cutting cycle saving the operator time whilst delivering safety.

Log Stripper

The Log Splitter incorporates a handy “Log Stripper” that can be used to remove logs that are trapped on the cutting head making removal effortless. It is spring loaded so that it stays out of position, but is easily deployed when required.
