For owners of low-clearance vehicles or those in the vehicle recovery business, the Tiltbed trailer is the ideal choice. It combines all the benefits of the Flatbed range with an easily-tilted platform for effortless loading.

Choose from two sizes: the CT166 (4.87m long, 1.90m wide) and the CT167 (4.87m long, 2.16m wide), both offering a maximum gross weight of 3500kg. The tilt is rapidly and easily achieved through the use of a manual hydraulic pump.

With a low tilt angle of approximately 12 degrees and a drop-down tail ramp, driving almost any wheeled vehicle onto the trailer bed is hassle-free. For added convenience, a longer 0.91m (3’) loading ramp is also available. Riding on the exclusive Ifor Williams beam axle and Paraflex™ leaf spring suspension system, choose the CT Tiltbed trailer for reliable, secure, and efficient loading every time.

Resin Coated Plywood Floor

Our Beavertail Trailers come fitted with a Heavy Duty, Resin Coated Plywood Floor. This offers excellent resistance to damage, whilst offering a non-slip surface for added protection. The edges of the Floor Panels are also treated to reduce the ingress of water, offering a long lasting solution.

Lockable Coupling Head

The lockable coupling head can be locked on or off the coupling for additional security to discourage any theft.

Spare Wheel & Carrier

Accessories

ALUMINIUM TREADPLATE FLOOR

Your floor can be upgraded to an Aluminium Treadplate covering to add additional grip in wet conditions that complements the galvanised finish along with additional durability for everyday tasks.

DROPSIDES

Depending on your requirements, fitting a set of steel dropsides to your tiltbed trailer will increase its versatility, and with no raised edges around the bed sides, it provides a completely flat surface for your load. Dropsides and pillars can be easily removed without the use of a tool.

HEADBOARD

The headboard offers extra security when transporting your loads.

LADDER RACK

Enhance the functionality of your trailer with the addition of a Ladder Rack Kit. The Ladder Rack allows for the transport of materials that are longer than your trailer, making the Tiltbed trailer even more versatile.

MESH SIDE KIT

These Mesh Side Kits offer an increased height of the Sides and Front Panel allowing for higher loads of loose materials. Some of these Mesh Kits can be purchased for fitting yourself, whilst others require fitting at the factory, so please speak with your local Distributor prior to ordering.

LOAD RESTRAINING STRAP

Load Restraining Straps or “Ratchet Straps” as they are commonly known allow your load to be secured to the trailer quickly and easily. Always ensure your straps are undamaged and strong enough for the load to be secured.

COUPLING LOCK

Our Ifor Williams Coupling Lock fits neatly around the Coupling Head to make the theft of your trailer much more difficult. Manufactured from High-Grade Steels and a durable Powder Coated Finish. The Lock is a High Security Lock which features an Anti-Drilling Barrel. For extra piece of mind we also supply an additional High Security Barrel which will fit into a Lockable Coupling Head so that one key will open both the Coupling Lock and the Coupling Head Barrel.
